Until recently, lining was associated with modest cottage renovations or bathhouse finishing. Modern design has revealed its wide decorative potential; paneling has taken its rightful place among other finishing materials.
The widespread use of this previously underestimated material is explained not only by its excellent aesthetic qualities, but also by a number of functional properties, which include:
- Budget price.
- Easy installation. The lining is profiled in the factory; thanks to the tongue-and-groove system, lining the inside of the house with lining takes little time.
- Additional features. Finishing with panels helps to hide uneven walls, as well as wiring and communications.
- Additional heat and sound insulation.
- Long service life. High-quality material will last 40-50 years (with proper care).
Wooden lining is a classic material for interior decoration; due to its environmental friendliness and natural surface structure, it fits into most interiors. The most common material is in the form of wooden slats with a standard width of 8.8 cm and a length of 1 to 6 meters.
